About Project C.A.R.E.

Ansley Reagan is a cum laude graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications. At Lee, she was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s student honor society, and the Dean's list. She was named the 2006 Volunteer of the Year by the Southeastern Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability. Ansley is a well-known harpist in Southeast Tennessee. She has been playing for weddings, banquets, and special occasions for seven years.

Ansley’s founded Project C.A.R.E. (Community Alliance for Reaching the Elderly) to advocate for the elderly in her community. The mission of this program is to establish community networks between citizens, businesses and organizations that support the elderly. Project C.A.R.E. brings awareness to the plight of the elderly, raises funds to support programs that work directly with the elderly, and creates opportunities for people of all ages to volunteer with the elderly.

Ansley is supporter of the Volunteer Guardianship Program. This program provides a volunteer legal guardian to persons over the age of 60 who have been declared unable to make decisions for themselves by the court, have no funds, and have no one willing or fit to speak for them. Ansley has been a Volunteer Guardian for the past three years.

Ansley also supports the Children's Miracle Network as a volunteer. Contributions to this worthy cause can be made by clicking here.

Ansley was Miss Chattanooga 2005 and place 3rd runner-up at the Miss Tennessee Pageant. She competed for the title of Miss Tennessee 2006 as Miss Cleveland, where she was 1st runner-up, Swimsuit preliminary winner, and was the winner of the prestigious 2006 Miss America Organization State Community Service Award. Ansley was crowned Miss Hamilton County 2007 and will be competing for the title of Miss Tennessee in June.
