The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department’s TENNderCare Program has partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield, GetFitTN, and the City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation and hosted a Youth Health Conference on March 17, 2007. This conference was for youth ages 13-20 years, and included GetFitTN speaker and former Titan Eddie George and Tennessee Commissioner of Health Susan Cooper. Activities also included 16 different breakout sessions.

ABOUT TENNderCARE: Tennessee has made a commitment to promoting good health in children from birth until age 21. It's called the TENNderCARE program. TENNderCARE is a full program of check ups and health care services for children who have TennCare. These services make sure babies, children, teens and young adults receive the health care they need.
